JW Longaberger had a tradition of weaving Easter Baskets for children in Dresden, Ohio, and Longaberger has continued to offer Easter Baskets throughout the years. The 1996 Easter Basket was an extra-pretty one, with a traditional stationary (stand-up) handle and a tall oval shape that holds Easter goodies and everything else perfectly.

This Easter Basket protector will allow all of the treats the Easter Bunny left to be easily lifted out for egg hunting. Of course, this basket is handy and decorative for everyday use. Plastic protectors multiply the uses of any basket!

The 1996 Easter Basket measures 7 1/2\" l by 5\" w by 6\" t with a stationary handle and was available for one month.

Protector has been safely stored and is in mint unused condition other than some dried residue on the protector outside bottom from a sticker that is not sticky and possibly could be removed with Goo Be Gone or another cleaner. It does not affect the look or performance of the protector (see photos).
