This was and is, a very special basket as it was released the year after the Founder of Longaberger died in 1999. His daughters share the story that this basket was his favorite so they did a \'Tribute to our Dad\' Market basket in 2000. Both daughters signed the bottom on the basket (burned in) and there is a special commemorative book detailing these events that was included in the basket.
The care instructions, the little book, and the liner are in mint condition. The basket itself is nearly perfect. The lid has 2 areas with minor scratching which I pictured very closely. I have the flash on so you can see them-they aren\'t nearly as noticeable in real life.
