You\'ll love the beautiful vintage stain of this classic old Longaberger basket, a very early part of the collection often considered Longaberger\'s premiere group of collectible baskets

The JW Longaberger Collection Series ran from 1983 through 1994 and honored JW Longaberger by using 12 basket forms he had created, adding navy trim strips and gold metal tags

This rare Waste Basket is only the second in the collection, making a good-condition one quite rare

I never knew of this basket being used at all, but it does have some darkened places on bottom around the metal tacks, which isn\'t unusual, especially for a basket that\'s over 30 years old! This has already been considered in pricing the basket

The metal tag is different than later JW Collection tags and states: \"LONGABERGER J.W . Collection Series Waste Basket 20084\"

sale includes basket only--no plastic protectors or fabric liners were available at the time

The JW Waste Basket is 9 1/2\" l by 9 1/2\" w by 12\" h

This basket set has been carefully stored and still has nice, dark blue weaves with its pretty stain
