These are 2 very old pocket watches though I don\'t know how old. One is by Hampden Watch Co and the other is a Waltham. Both have brass cases and both have separate second hand dials. The Hampden watch has Roman Numerals and the Waltham has Arabic Numerals. When I wound them, both the second hands started moving. The Hampden watch face comes off when you push down on the winder and inside is the button for setting the time. I couldn\'t figure out how to open the Waltham watch. The back of the Hampden watch is clear so you can see into the watchworks. Besides giving the company and location (Canton Ohio), it says SAFETY PINION. It looks like it has a device for speeding or slowing the time. I did not check either one for accuracy though both appear to be functioning and in very good condition.
