Here is a an adorable pair of c1950\'s Pink French Poodle scatter pins. The pins are gold-plated with dimensional, textured, light pink enamel poodle pom-pom fur, light green enameled bows, and red enameled eyes (at first I thought they were red rhinestones, but under magnification--they are sparkly red enamel dots). The brooches measure approximately 1.5\" x 1.5\" and weigh 0.6 oz. each--large for scatter pins. They are unsigned and have locking rollover C clasps in perfect working condition. The gold-plating on the front and backis in amazingly excellent condition for its age--maybe slight surface wear but no visible tarnishing or aging. The pink enamel has definite wear (see photos)but the magnified photos of the highly textured pink pom-poms, taken at a side angle,make it look worse than it does in person. In person, you definitely seesome wear to the enamel, but pins are highly wearable with an adorable vintage look! They could use a gentle cleaning but overall, I would say they are in GREAT vintage condition! Also, there are LOTS of mid-century poodle pins out there (poodles were very popular in the 50\'s) but these brooches are RARE!! I found no others just like them listed--only a single one that wasgray with a pink bow (and in much worse condition). Poodles lovers out there--don\'t miss your chance for these hard to find, collectable, and super duper cute pair of scatter pins!
