Porcelain& Cloth Disney Doll / Figurine PRINCE PHILLIP from Sleeping Beauty by DeAgostiniw Box

This doll depicts Disney’s PrincePhillip as he was dressed in the forest scene in the 1959 animated classic,Sleeping Beauty. The hair is stiff because these dolls came with the hairstyles practically “glued” into place. The boots are molded and painted ontothe legs. He’s affixed to a piece of paperboard that isn’t attached to the backof the box, so you can remove him from the box without untying him.

The doll measures about 8.25” tall. Thepaperboard box measures about 9” x 3.25” by 1.75” and has a clear plastic “lid”through which you can view the doll.

The DOLL is in good condition with nochips, cracks or stains, but it has a few issues: the hat shows signs of gentlehandling, the cape is coming unglued on the back (circled in one of thephotos), and the round yellow circle “fastener” on the cape looks like it’smissing something, but I think it was made that way. The BOX is in poor condition.

Porcelain& Cloth Disney Doll / Figurine Sleeping Beauty AURORA as Briar Rose by DeAgostiniwith Box

This doll depicts Disney’s Aurora “indisguise” as Briar Rose from the 1959 animated classic, Sleeping Beauty. She’swearing light grey dress with white collar and velvet-like black bodice. Shehas a long purple scarf and a black ribbon headband. No shoes! She’s barefoot. The hair is stiff because these dolls came with the hair styles practically“glued” into place.

The doll measures about 7” tall. Thepaperboard box measures about 8” x 2.5” by 1.5.”

The doll is in very good condition withno chips, cracks or stains. It looks like her bangs on one side have comeuncurled. The box is not in good condition. It’s not torn or broken, but it isscuffed and a little bent.

Porcelain& Cloth Disney Doll / Figurine GOOD FAIRY FLORA Sleeping Beauty by DeAgostiniWITH Magazine NRFB

This Flora doll looks bewildered.Perhaps she’s wondering why they didn’t give her a hat? (It’s not missing. Themaker didn’t provide a hat for this character.)

The doll measures about 5.75” tall, with a cloth red and pink dress. The shoes look like they might be painted on, I can’t tell. There is no stand in the box. The box measures about 6” x 3.5”by 2.” The magazine measures about 9” wide by 11.25” high, and seems to be aroundsix pages thick (it’s not opened so I can’t tell, I can just see that’s it’s aTHIN magazine).

The DOLL is in mint condition becausethe wrapper has never been opened. However, the wrapper is scuffed and cracked. The magazine is slightly bent but in good shape.

ABOUT DeAGOSTINI DISNEY DOLLS

NOTE: I’m NOT an expert on these dolls! I gleaned thefollowing information from a little, quick internet research!

Deagostini Company(an Italian publishing company founded in 1901) made these small porcelaindolls in the starting in 2004 for non U.S. markets, distributed mostly incontinental European countries. They were sold via a \"TheWorld of Disney Princesses in Porcelain\" magazine series subscription plan. A new magazine would be released every twoweeks. There were about 55 dolls/magazines issued in this series. Each dollcame sealed in a box with a magazine, and both were bundled together in a clearplastic wrapper. The magazines contained trivia, games, pictures, and puzzles. Onthe back of each magazine is an ad for the next doll in the series. There areno stands for the dolls. Most were affixed to the inside backs of the boxeswith twisty-ties, some were loose in the boxes. The dolls were made of porcelain with moveable limbs attachedwith cord. Most had only 4 points of articulation: hips and shoulders. Theclothing and accessories were both sewn and glued together. Most dolls had “real”hair (“real” as in fibrous, not painted on) if the character had hair, and some dolls had painted-on hair.

POLICIES, DETAILS, BLAH BLAH BLAH… plus some worthlessinformation.

Please forgive mywordiness... I\'m just a runaway writer in need of an editor and some therapyfrom having been scammed a few times. I did my best to make it funny here andthere. This stuff is pretty basic. I’m just covering my hiney. Thanks forunderstanding, and thanks for bearing with me.

Environmental waste. So the packaging might not be pretty, but it’s not addingto landfills, either.

Environment. I can promise that they didn’t get smoke residue onthem while in my care.
