I am selling a lot of 3 very old (1700s-1800s?) antique books written in a Scandinavian language. I put parts of each book into translator and it said they were Swedish mostly, although I did get Norwegian and Danish a couple of times. A very knowledgeable person messaged me and explained that they are written in old script Norwegian and that it was modernized in 1925. So definitely not Swedish.

They all show significant wear to both interior and exterior such as a few pages separating from the sewed binding, dark pages, water marks, binding covers loose, rips to interior. cursive writing on interior cover of one, children\'s drawings and scribbles on another. One book has a partial name and date \" rlotta Erigdotter. and 46 (Charlotta 1846????) I wish I read Swedish so I could be of more help.

They are still extremely cool and would be great to display, especially as they are not real big.

I can detect an \"old Book\" smell, but no musty or moldy odder.

As with all vintage and pre-owneditems, there may be signs of use and wear that I feel ads to thecharacter. It makes me wonder who used it and what has it endured. I do notdeep clean items and as such will probably need to be cleaned before use ordisplay.
