Up for sale is a lot of my parents\' antique/vintage Christmas decorations. We are in the process of selling off everything that was in their house of 60+ years.My mom\'s family was from Germany and my dad\'s from Sweden, so I\'m not sure of the origin of some but I have been told many are German.
The ornaments are in good vintage condition, with wear showing on the oldest ones. Please see photos and ask any questions you might have and I\'ll do my best to describe anything.
The nativity scene dates back to the 50s-60s. I did a bit of research and found that it was made by Whitman and came in a box, which we no longer have. All of the pieces are there and everything stands up just fine, although I noticed tape on a couple of tabs.
There is also a RARE, old, beautiful German angel tree topper with a delicate wax face, wearing a foil accordion skirt and holding two wax taper candles. The hair appears to be made from spun glass, also. It is in excellent condition, even though I know that my parents used it on occasion.
In addition, there is a box of white spun glass angel hair, which was never used as far as I know. There is a bit of glue on the box where the price tag once was, otherwise, the box is in good condition.
Next is a wooden camel train hand carved from olive wood that is labeled, \"Bethlehem - The Holy Land.\" It measures roughly 1\' long x 2\" high. It comes in the original box.
Lastly, there are also 7 strings of old, gold beads (two slightly different colors) measuring a total of over 75 feet.
