This listing includes two vintage-antique cardboard candy boxes. Both boxes are emptycompletely original and have wear from age and storage. Complete details are as follows;
Box 1: Hills Of Westchester Angel Building Brentwood MD. Assorted Petits Fours NET WT. 16 OZ (1LB.). Measures approx. 11 1/4\" side edge to side edge, approx. 8 1/4\" front to back andjust over 1 1/4\" tall when covers are attached.Includes \"puffy\" divider insert.There are imperfections that includes light discoloration, spots/stains old tape marks on sides, rubbing along edges and corners faint red pen marks on weight section,top flaps are warped-beveled out. Coloration of box is good for age and all corners are solid no splitting.
Box 2: Lowney\'s Assorted Chocolates. Topsection has a paper cover there is light discoloration, rubbing along edges and corners-split on top seam,a few small holes, bald spot on top edge near corner, all corners are solid no splits. Bottom section is discolored there are light spots/stains, bottom is pushed inward with a few wrinkles, rubbing along edges and corners with balding, two corners are split.Original doilyis glues to two sidehas turned slightly darker on side has arip near center. Includes original wax paper insert (has turned darker) alsolotproduction sticker on bottom \"J1284\".
Even though boxes have wear and show there age they have character and would make great display pieces. Please look at pictures and use the zoom feature for more of an up close view.
