Lot of seven (7) Magazine Gag Cartoons by various artists. Unless noted below, I do not know which magazines they were published in or the actual dates they appeared.

1) Paul Peter Porges AMERICAN WEEKLY Magazine Gag Cartoon Art, 1959. Continuous Rain -- Nice example of a gag cartoon by longtime cartoonist and MAD Magazine contributor, Paul Peter Porges This was published in a 1959 issue of THE AMERICAN WEEKLY Magazine according to information rubber stamped on to the back of the page. A Mother despondently listens to the weather report as the kids and teenagers raise a ruckus -- Continuous Rain Today And Tomorrow! Signed by the artist. Original measures 13-1/2 x 10 and is in Very Good condition. Has rubber stamped magazine info and artist’s name & address on back of page.

2) Paul Peter Porges Gag Cartoon, Undated, Traffic Jam – Caption reads ”But I Can’t Turn Off. I Ran Out Of Gas Two Miles Back.” Signed by the artist. Original measures 12” x 9” and is in Good condition but there is some water damage on back of the board which comes through at top of front of page a little.

3) Joseph Farris Gag Cartoon,, Undated, Curve – Caption reads ”This Is The One I Was Telling You About” Signed by the artist. Original measures 11” x 8” and is in Good condition but has masking tape on back around all sides. It appears to have been in a mat at one time. There is also a small hole in the page just above the “Curve” sign.

4) Ford Button (1924-1995) Gag Cartoon, undated – Caption reads “What Overdue Rent?” Signed by the artist. Original measures 10-3/4” x 8” and is in Good condition but has been folded in half but clean otherwise.

5) Bob Zahn Gag Cartoon, Undated – Caption reads “Dear, The Hathaways Are Here.” Signed by the artist. Original measures 8-1/2” x 11” and is in Good condition except for a bent corner.

6) Marvin Tannenberg Gag Cartoon, 60s, State Trooper -- Caption reads ”You Grabbed That Hat When We Passed A Who?” Signed by the artist. Original measures 13” x 9” and is in Very Good condition except for a couple of tape stains on the corners.

7) Marvin Tannenberg LOOK Magazine Gag Cartoon, 1962, Scientists -- Caption reads ”I Thought You Guys Would Get A Kick Out Of It!”” Signed by the artist. Original measures 14” x 10-3/4” and is in Very Good condition except for a couple of brown tape stains on the top two corners. Nice blue wash as well!
