Lot Of 25 Vintage 1910s Easter Post Cards Rabbits Bunnies Chicks Eggs Photo For Sale
This sale is for a lot of 25 Easter postcards. (It was originally 23 cards but I found 2 more after taking the 1st round of pics.) :) The cards all have writing on the back. Some have stamps and postal markings, and some just have the writing. The condition of the cards ranges from very good with fairly sharp corners to some that have creases, dog-eared corners, and even worn or missing corners or slight tears. There are bunny rabbits, chicks, ducklings, eggs, crosses, landscape, birds, floral, and also one that appears to be a photo card of a child that also has some drawn chicks on it (please see the pics as it is hard for me to describe!). Some are highly embossed, some slightly, and others aren't at all. Some with have metalliclooking print. Really a mix of many styles. As far as dates go, the earliest date I found was on a couple from 1911. Most are from the 1910's but there are some with no dates that I could find, so they may be older or newer, but from the look of them and since they came together with the others, I believe it is safe to say they are from the same era. I also noticed that many are marked Printed in Germany.
