Lot of Old Silver & Turquoise Jewelry
For sale is a mixed lot of old silver & turquoise jewelry. Many pieces are old pawn and as such have no metal content stamp or makers mark. They have not been acid tested but I suspect all are coin silver or sterling silver. These are all estate sale or garage finds over the last few years. I would say these pieces range from the 1920\'s to the 1970\'s. The only signed piece is a nice heavy sand cast watch cuff bracelet by James Toadlena, Turquoise nuggets in this piece are stunning and alone it weighs 65 grams.
Total weight of this lot which includes silver & stones is 224 grams.
This mixed lot includes the following:
  • One watch cuff sand cast sterling silver bracelet by Navajo James Toadlena from he 1960\'s.
  • One Bolo Tie piece with a blue Turquoise stone that measures 1 3/8\" by 1 1/4\". The back piece is stamped \"Bennett Pat. Pend. C-31\".
  • One 16\" choker type bead necklace with 5 blue Turquoise nuggets.
  • Two cuff type silver & Turquoise bracelets, both with split shank and twisted wire decoration.
  • Six silver rings with blue or green Turquoise stone. These rings are various sizes and all appear to be female rings. This group features some single shank and split shank pieces.
  • Three silver pendants with stones. The smaller pendant with the green Turquoise must have a vein of iron ore running down one side as one side was attracted to my magnet. One pendant is much newer than those with he green Turquoise and has some coral in it.
  • Three pairs of earrings. All three are pierced type earring and one set has 925 stamped on the portion that slips through the ear.
