This, I believe is an original chromolithograph of a Louis Wain painting, titled Mrs Tabitha\'s Cats\'Academy. It was found in a very old frame, with a wooden back and cut nails. The frame was invery poor condition, so I removed the chromolithograph. Other works I\'ve seen date this work tothe 1890\'s. The mat looks original and has the name embossed in gold lettering on the mat,that\'s attached to the chromolithograph. The print measures 16\"x 12\", with one small tear thatcan be seen in a photo. The mat has some yellowing and measures 22\"x 17.75\". Except for thesmall tear,the chromolithograph is in very good condition.
