Stunning1880 Franz Anton Mehlem Royal Bonn Delft Figural Beer Tankard Pitcher16.5\" MintThis is a really stunning ca.1870-80beer tankard by Franz Anton Mehlem of Bonn Germany. It is fully signed asshown, it was produced before 1881. Italso has Mehlem\'s impressed mark, which reads Franz Anton Mehlem around theimpressed letters. It is from Royal Bonn Delft line with magnificent blue whitechintzy floral decoration all around. There is a soldier\'s painting below thespout and a framed shield with long plumes below the figural painting. Thespout has bas relief cobalt and blue painted foliage. The handle is quiteornate with also cobalt and white painted foliage. It has nice thumb rest. The tankardhas 4\" diameter at the rim without the spout, 6.25\" diameters on thebody and it is 16.5\" tall. It is in excellent condition without any chips,cracks or repair.We have listed bunch of lovely antique-vintage pieces, they will all makefabulous gifts for a loved ones.
