Original Antique German Bell Alarm Miniature Bracket Clock by W&H

This is your chance to own a beautiful quality German ting tang bracket clock by a top Victorian maker W&H. Complete with original 8 day movement with which strikes a bell at the top of the case. Clock features a really nice quality wooden case with beautiful carved faced detail. Great quality clock in fine condition and good working order.

Case
- Made of an oak base with beautiful oak walnut veneer in panels to the base, sides, front and top.
- Beautiful patina two finials missing from the front
- Hand carved decoration throughout, with Celtic face design front and carved columns flanking the dial
- Hinged pierced wooden rear door to allow the sound of the chime to travel

Dial

- Silvered chapering and brass dial with Roman numerals
- Two winding holes for the two trains of the movement a thirdwinding arbor under the number 6

Movement
- Brass 8 day striking movement.
- Signed by W&H - a superb German clockmaker
- Movement will run for approximately 8 days when fully wound
- Clock has a good action and keeps good time
- Comes complete with winding key and pendulum

Measurements
- Clock measures approximately 30cm (12 inches) high by 16cm wide and 12cm deep

Condition
- Condition is generally very good and the clock has a nice patina two finials missing from the front
- This clock is a genuine antique so it will inevitably have minor signs of age and wear but these are minimal.
- Movement has been cleaned and oiled and is in full working order
- The case looks to be in lovely condition

All of our clocks are fully tested and in working order unless stated very clearly in the listing and the majority of clocks can be set up easily and quickly with some minor adjustments.
