Some minor shelf wear.Hinge crack at page 6 but intact and solid.Endpapers intact, foxing on frontispiece tissue and on prelims.Pages 99% clean and main page edges rough cut giving rise to an odd tear.and uneven size.A good example of a Scarce Victorian copy,Green boards with black titles and decor, spine has gilt titles and black decoration.
A lovely book in 8vo size measuring 6.75\" x4.5\" with 330 pages ofnice oldstyle text&10 pages of ad\'s. It has a Black & White frontispiece and many black & white engravings throughout, some full page but mostlyin text.
Most of my books are Second hand or Vintage, so please don\'t expect perfection but I do try and give an honest description and you should be aware of that before offerding.Please understand that I am not an expert on my books, but am only a lover of old books and collector. I have done my best to describe this book based on my current knowledge, but nobody is perfect. I welcome any questions you may have about this book.
