An antique Victorian late 1800\'s 9K solid yellow gold, seed pearl and black enamel mourning ring.

This lovely ring has nine seed pearls set out in a diamond shape in the 9K yellow gold oval-shaped face. They are surrounded by raised gold designs and black enamel work. The outside of the band has further raised gold work surrounded by black enamel. The inside of the ring has an oval backing which can be removed-I believe this is for the momento mori to be placed in. The ring has various English hallmarks inside including .375 for 9K gold.

The ring is approximately a size 8.

The ring measures around 1/2 x 3/8 inch across the face.

The ring is in general very good condition. The band has some black enamel missing. All seed pearls intact and secure. Face of the ring is in excellent condition.
