Lovely NORWEGIAN Solid Silver PIE CAKE SERVER SLICE 1937 Hallmarked KLOSTER NR
NORWAY: Brodrene Lohne A/S - Solid Silver - 2+ troy oz.

This is a lovely rare VINTAGE solid silver pie server or cake server or cake slice which was made in Bergen, Norway in about 1937 by the illustrious Norwegian silversmiths, Brodrene Lohne A/S. It is in the Kloster pattern and is NOT engraved with initials. It measures over 8 1/4\" long and almost 2 3/4\" across the blade. This serving piece is very substantial - itweighs72.4 grams -well over 2 1/4troy oz.

It is in very good condition with just the usual surface scratching than you\'d expect for its age and no splits or dents, and NO dings - SUPERB. It is hallmarked to the rear of the handle with 830S Lo NM Nr123 showing that it was hallmarked in Norway in about 1937. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind.
