Lovely Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Shadowbox Ring Size 8.5
There is a beautiful piece of turquoise in this lovely ring, which is set off by being placed in a niello (darkened on purpose) background in a shadowbox. The inside edge of the shadowbox is scalloped; on the cardinal points are what appear to be symbols of stars.
The top of the ring measures about 1 1/8\" long by just under 3/4\" wide. The stone itself measures about 5/8\" by about 3/8\". Unsigned, guaranteed to be coin silver or better. It has a split shank and is a size 8.5.There is a NON THREATENING hairline going east to west; the stone is very tight in its setting--it looks far worse magnified as it is here.There are some of the normal light surface scratches, seen with magnification. This lovely ring is in overall excellent vintage condition.Shipped with delivery confirmation and tracking (I always wait in line to watch scanning since they miss so many) and packed safely in a gift box.
