Party Evening Gown Dress-epitome of Belle Epoque lavishness and luxuriousness on the Verde of the First World War & Era of Charleston
in the best traditions of Parisien Chic - reminiscent of the Directoria and Empire Period in Paris,
St. Petersburg or Chicago.

The gown features the columnar shape, marks the beginning of the new silhouette:
fine, soft, semi - transparent materials with draperies, exquisite hand embroideredlaceas a second layer coveredthe front
and the back ofchiffon Bodice, two rows of tiny beads around the collarless neckline, amazing layers of chiffon by the sides
for more intricacy and volume of the skirt & outstanding Silk Satin Sash and the same hemline adorned with bunches
of applied silk flowers !

The back closure features multiple tiny hooks & eyes, extended to the skirt witha separateclosure on the left side
and a few tiny push-buttons on the waist,pic.10, 11.The widened down sleeveshave very delicate soft triangular cuffs, the left sleeve has one beaded tassel,
unfortunately the right tassel was missed.

Very rare find with all details from this era intact.

Looks like size S to S+ to M, but please, follow only measurement shown in description
and compare with your regular garment to prevent any problems.

36\" - bust
30\" - 31\" waist
15\" - shoulders
14\" - 15\" from shoulder to waist
40\" - length of skirt
55\" - total length from shoulder to bottom
24\" - length of sleeves

The dress came from the famous San Francisco Bay area sale and they never inform us about item history or
previous owners.The lot was titled:
\"Edwardian Art NouveouSilk and Lace Dress with Silk Satin Sash and Applied Flowers\"
and we trust them.

Condition:
gently used antique condition, very slightly soiled, we see one very delicate tiny repair on the lower layer of bodice,
not visible from the front, a fewtypical tiny breaksto the net lace of bodice, not visible on the picture
and noticeable in close inspection only; the silk has not tears or holes;
unfortunatelyone beaded tassel on the right cuff was missed.
We did not iron this dress in a reason not to damage this beauty - overall unique very - verygood condition
for so old garment!

This dress being sold as is described condition.
