The artist Ludwig Yehuda Wolpert was born in Germany in 1900. Fled to Palestine in 1933 where he worked as a designer artist of beautiful Judaica. In 1956 he immigrated to United States. He lived in New York and worked at The Jewish Museum of New York for many years. He passed away in 1981.
