Luristan sword approximately 20 1/2 \"
I don\'t usually care for Luristan swords. I enjoy them but usually I enjoy them and then pass them on.I have kept this piece for awhile because it has a square grip. I have seen quite a few Luristan swords but I never saw one that had a long post grip that was four sided.
I have even had my doubts that the sword is Luristan and have considered it was possibly from a culture slightly further east.
I have decided to stay with the attribution Luristan because of the pommel which is found on some Luristan swords.
Bronze healthy and solid. Good patina ( a good looking patina and \' right \' looking ). Very few minor nicks to the edge of blade ( please look at photos and use magnifier ). The only real noticeable nick is near one shoulder near guard.If you have questions or need more photos please ask.

After a long self-imposed exile from Bungalowbil is having a \'clean out the closets\' sale ( I believe this comes as good news to Mrs. Bungalowbil ).
