Fabulous vintage fur coat!
Blonde mink.....luxuriously soft and silky!
No maker\'s tag.
Front closure has 3 covered hooks and eyes, photo 14.
Monogrammed.
Beautiful lining ...it has2tiny pinholes and a 1/4" worn spot, photos 8,9.
The left armhole stitching in the lining has been hand mended, many years ago....and the right armpit has a small worn area, 4 vertical snags, about 1".
Verticalslit hand-warmer pockets are soft flannel inside.
The collar can be worn open, standing up, or buttoned closed withthe big embroidered button, photo 4.
The lining has a pleated collar inside the fur collar, photo 5.
Falls just below the knee.
Misses size L 12/14.
Be sure to measure a coat that fits you, and compare the numbers.
I opened it up and measured inside the coat, across the back of the lining.
Measures:
** 25" wide under the arms
** 36" wide at hem
** 43" long from base of collar to hem
Sleeves are about 31" from center back neck to end; 17.5" armpit to end.
The sleeves have elastic "gaiters" inside to keep the cold out, photo 15.
The cuffs are tacked up.
Excellent condition....no signs of wear other than the mended lining.
I\'m selling it for a friend that has no need for it anymore....I don\'t knowwhat mink is worth these days, but Ithink this coat would be a good investment....
