This is a magnificent 5 piece 19th century French 950 sterling silver tea set in mint condition fully signed and hallmarked. This set was purchased 40 years ago from Christies in London. This is one of the finest complete sets of this kind that has ever been offered for sale on . This set weights about 290 oz. The tray measures 26.5\", by 16.4\", and 3.3\" tall. It weights about 92 oz. The large 3 piece kettle, hot water or coffee holder measures 16.5\" tall (including the handle), 10.5\" front, and 10.5\" deep. It weights about 103oz. The tall tea pot or coffee pot measures 12\" tall, 9.25\" front, 5.4\" wide, and weights38oz. The large pot measures 8\" diameter, 5\" tall, and weights 19oz. The sugar pot measures 7.7\" front, 5\" tall, 5.7\" wide, the base is 3\" diameter, and it weights 19oz. There is a nice monogram on each of the pieces, that has a very nice design.
