MAGNIFICENT PAIR OF ANTIQUE ORIENTAL BRONZE VASES ON STANDS - JAPANESE / CHINESE:

HELLO AND WELCOME TO OLD.VINTAGE.RETRO ....

On offer are a magnificent pair of antique oriental bronze twin handled vases.

I am told that they are Japanese (Meiji period) but they have unusual character / seal marks on the base which look like Chinese marks - any info is most welcome.

They are fine early examples and come with very unusual bronze stands - the bottoms of the vases have markings which correspond with markings on the inside of the stands.

These magnificent old vases each feature 4 panels with raised birds - see photos.

Possibly the finest oriental vases I have ever had!!

height - 20cm .... height on stand - 24.75cm

width - 15cm

diameter of the rim - 12.5cm
