ITEM: This is an original silk screen pre-Katrina poster promoting the famous Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans. It is part of a series of posters devoted to the subject (one each year) produced by Pro Creations Publishing Company (1978-1994). The 1981 poster we are offering here is one of the most popular. Other examples of this series may be examined at ProCreations website.

SIZE: This item is framed under glass in a brushed metal gallery type frame. Overall framed dimensions are 22 ¼” x 16 ¼”. The poster itself measures 22” x 15 ¾”.

EDITION: Lower left “97/500”.

SIGNATURE: “K. N. Martin” lower right.

CONDITION: The poster appears to be in excellent original condition with no flaws. There is no burning, foxing, stains, holes, tears or repairs. (Please excuse any glare or reflection showing in the photos. This poster was photographed in bright sunlight.)

OTHER: This is a great poster. It is absolutely sassy in its’ attitude and is ready to hang on your wall.
