“Mardi Gras”(1958) was a delightful musical comedy, directed by Edmund Goulding, about thecadets of the Virginia Military Institute band traveling to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras celebration. The lavish CinemaScope production starred PatBoone, Christine Carere, Tommy Sands, Gary Crosby and the one-and-only ShereeNorth. All of these fifties icons aredepicted to sensational advantage on this original insert poster (14”x36”) tothe film. This fabulous item is unfoldedand in generally decent condition, with paper indentations and several tears(two of them large), from the border edges.
