Rare and hard to find vintage 1950s Wind-up tin mechanical tank, measuring 10-inch L x 5.5-in H. Features: When wound the tank drives forward, and the hatch opens and closes with astronaut gunner figure coming out, with gun sound effects. Made entirely of tin metal, except for the wood wheels. Wheels have no cracks or chips. Tin litho has some scratching and paint wear.Comes with one vintage Wind-up Key, not sure if original.Wind-up mechanism is TESTED & WORKING! Tank riding, and gunner hatch features all WORKING. Did not see any sparks, flint may be worn out, but stone still spins like normal. On/Off switch still works.
