This record dramatizes her book Kookanoo, the adventure of an Aboriginal boy.Mary and Elizabeth Durack\'s works are a little bit out of fashion nowadays with their somewhat stereotypical view of indigenous Australians and the books were banned at one stage for demeaning Aborigines.
