You are offerding on a ULTRA rare MATCHING PAIR of solid silver cocktail shakers made in Hanau, Germany approx. c1897 by Wilhelm Hofmann. These cocktail shakers are one of the finest pairs you will find, stunning detail in the art work and hand chase work. The cocktail shakers are in excellent condition with NO dents, cracks or dings. The lids fit perfectly and snug as they should, and the spout lids screws on with no issues. This is a true collectors\' investment. They will only go up in price as it is very hard to find pieces like these. Cocktail shakers this early are almost non existent. The servers are large at 11-1/2\" tall and 9\" spout to handle. The very ornate handle is solid, not hollow like most. The weight is very good at 840 grams (1lb-13.6 oz standard) nearly 2 standard pounds EACH! These pieces should probably be headed to a museum. Wilhelm Hofmann is a documented silversmith of Hanua Germany as shown in picture #2 from www. 925-1000 .com. This is his early work. THIS SET COMES WITH A FREE GIFT!
