This is a rare & unique form of the arab islamic yemeni jambiya that has the looks & form of the \"Mecca style\" jambiya.
This form of jambiya was made in certain parts of the arabian peninsula and is distinguished by the scabbard shape that\'s usually made of silver & metal composites, along with the hilt. The back of the jambiya\'s scabbard is wrapped with leather, which has very noticeable signs of tear & wear due to age. Condition of the jambiya overall is good, with some rusts spots on the blade & the leather showing considerable signs of age. Age is not confirmed, however judging from the condition of the jambiya & that this form of jambiya is not made anymore, one can say that it\'s been made in early 20th century.
