This is a unique ANDHistorical Hanukiyah Menora. According to the tradition in our family, our grandmother who live in British Mandatory \"palestine\" bought or received this Chanuka Menora some time in the 1930\'s OR 40\'S. She later migrated to the USA and her grandson inherited it. It was definitely made in \"palestine\" but I don\'t know exactly when.

The artistry and shape is reminiscent of the Bezalel Menora\'

as as can be seen Menorah depicts 2 lions holding on to a Menorah (Candelabra) as was used in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. On top is a Crown of the Torah (Bible). The candle holders are made from real bullets and then \"stretched\" to make the mouth bigger so that it can use wax candles or oil. Menora is made out of copper, bullets probably brass.

Measurements: The bottom of each bullet measures 1mm. Width of Menorah measures 15.5cm (little over 6 inches) and height is 6.5 inches. There\'s a hole below the crown to be able to hang the Menorah on a wall throughout the year.

Condition: The Menorah is in very good shape. There is a 1mm crack by the bottom of the crown. 2 new screws have been used to tighten back to the body of the Menorah.

This Menora is perhaps one of a kind being sold here on . I could not find anything like it on the web making this a true Museum piece representing a truly historic period in the history of the Jewish people who have come back to reclaim their land amid a sea of detractors, falsifiers and terrorist states. Having this Channukiya in your home is one terrific way in identifying yourself with the travails and victories of the Jewish people, as was in days of yore!
