You are viewing a VINTAGE CIRCA 1950/1960 MEN\'S LARGE AND HEAVY OLD PAWN HANDCRAFTED NAVAJO NATIVE-AMERICAN 925 STERLING SILVER BLUE GEM TURQUOISE FEATHERS EAGLE RING. Size 11.75. This ring has the traditional Native American feather and eagle motif on each side of ring. The front of the ring is about .89 inches (22.5 mm) high. The turquoise cabochon is .31 inches (8 mm) across and .38 inches (9.75 mm) high. Ring weighs over 15 grams. Like many Native American pieces made long ago, this ringhas no silversmith mark or hallmark, but guaranteed to be 925 sterling silver. The Blue Gem mine in Battle Mountain, Nevada, has been closed since the 70\'s. It yielded one of the most valuable and collectible types of turquoise, the Blue Gem. It is known and valued for its rich color of intense blues and deep green color combinations and hardness.
