ANTIQUE VINTAGE METTLACH
ELK\'S CLUB LIDDED BEER STEIN #2936

 Superb Mettlach Elk\'s Club Lidded Beer Stein #2936. Designed With a Finely Etched Depiction of a Mature Elk within in a blue bordered medallion; inscribed \"Benevolent Protective Order of Elks\".  The rest of the body is decorated with an intricate pattern of swirls with beading in high relief circling both the base, rim and top of pictorial lid.  Overall height is 9 1/4\".

Stein is in Perfect Condition WITHOUT chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
Marked on bottom Mettlach and the castle mark, #2936, Villeroy & Boch, Made in Germany. 
Mettlach, Germany is the city where Villeroy & Boch worked.  Steins from the firm are marked with the word Mettlach and the castle mark as this one is.

Great gift for an Elk\'s Club member or a fine addition to your personal collection!
