Beautiful original vintage Mido Multifort Extra Super Automatic in all stainless steel rare large case driven by automatic full rotor 17 jewel 917R movement.
Every effort has been made to show all possible detail with photographs. All photos are of actual watch in sale.
This is a beautiful example of a rare, large, stainless steel, vintage Mido Multifort Extra Super auomatic.
MOVEMENT: Beautiful full rotor Mido automatic movement. The movement is signed: \"Mido Limited, Swiss, 917R, 17 seventeen jewels, AOC\". Features shock protected, anti-magnetic movement. Movement runs well and has been recently serviced.
CASE: All stainless steel waterproof type screwback case measures 33.7 mm in diameter without crown, and 41 mm lug tip to tip. Case back interior is signed: \"Brit. Pat. 385509, Mido Limited, Switzerland, rustless steel, 1498250\". Case back is signed \"Mido, Multifort Superautomatic, Switzerland, rustless steel, shock protected, anti-magnetic\". Crystal is clean and clear.DIAL: Beautiful, original black dial has even patina and luminescent Arabic numbers at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o\'clock and luminescent hashes at 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 o\'clock, luminescent hour and minute hands, gold sweep second hand and pink outer minute track. Dial is signed: \"Mido, Multifort, Extra, Superautomatic\" in pink.
BAND: Fitted with black embossed leather band.
This watch has been in a private collection for many years, time for a new owner to have and cherish.
