Offered is a rare Decorated (the extra scrolling around the bowl at the handle) Beef Fork in the Gorham Chantilly pattern, which of course can be used for serving any food.This series of decorated Chantilly was only made between 1895 when Chantilly was first offered by Gorham, and 1904 when the \"new\" Chantilly was introduced and what is normally called just Chantilly. This piece is 6 3/4\" long, 1 3/8\" wide at the widest part of the tines, weighs 1 1/4 oz. of Sterling Silver, and has the old marks of Pat. 1895, Lion, Anchor, G, and Sterlingon the reverse side. There are no monograms on either the front or reverse side and is in excellent estate condition. Any spot you may see is a reflection of the camera lens as it is hard to take pictures of mirror-like objects. It has been polished by a professional and ready to use or gift.
