Sixth child of Henry Clay Dean and Christiana Margaret (Haigler) Dean. Christiana was born in southern Iowa on December 26, 1859 . Her family later moved to the very northern edge of Missouri when whe was a young girl.
Her father built a log cabin home on the many hundreds of acres he owned in Putnum County Missouri in 1871. He named the land area which his family resided upon \"Rebels Cove.\"
Christiana\'s siblings are listed here in birth order - John Willey Dean, Charles Caleb Dean, Mary Jermima Dean, Henry Clay Dean, Jr., George James Dean, Virginia Rebecca Dean.
Christiana was married to Steward Brown Davis in about 1879. They moved from the very Northern edge of Missouri to a rural area near Joplin on the SW edge of Missouri. . . . .
