This is a small beauty so perfect, amazing, useful, lovely to hold in hand and tuck anywhere, it really is quite special

Measuring 5.0\" tall and 3.5\" across thebottom basediameter, the mellowSky Bluebackground features an undulating spiral of Earthwormpattern encircling the midsection in triple colors of black, sienna and white. Floating matching color CatsEye dots follow the spiral and have their own circle ring on top lid. TheCannister consists of bulbous curvy base and matching separate lid with green Honeycomb Spiral knob atop. As piece is hand painted, note the occasional uneven black line and color flow.Smooth glazed interior, plain unglazed bottom with incised makers name and holds a good one cup of small rice, beans, dry foodstuff etc.Feels good in hand easy topick upand presents a fine period correct appearance for Reenactors of the colonial era. Each one is handmade one of a kind designed for collectors, yet somehow this bygone artwork looks just at home in a modern setting asa kitchenaccentwith its bold décor. Shall we say......Modernistic meets Colonial Fantastic?? Simply Neat and Sweet.

If you are an antique mocha ware collector, you can sneak this into your line up and it would be hard to tell the difference between real and this repro, for it is very convincing and realistic! Many of you are aware of Don Carpentier\'s passing in 2014 makingmochaware pottery a good catch at a fraction of the other pieces extant now fetching hundreds of dollar as contemporary reproductions. To be clear, this is NOT a Carpentier piece (which are all marked with his name), my comment herewith was directed that with Don\'s passing, there are very limited alternate resources in which to locate mocha repro ware, and the SJ Pottery piece listedalternately here on my siteis equally as nice and serviceable at affordable cost and immediate availability. When one door closes, another must be opened to take its place, and the SJ sold here passes jury acceptance standards for modern reenactors. (There was no intent to mislead or confuse Buyers; some people are not aware of Don\'s death.)
