I recently obtained this very cool and swanky vintage 1950s bright red ashtray at a local estate sale. it is extremely \"James Bond\" in style! It has very cool sleek lines and design. The color is beautiful. The bright red just pops right out at you! This is an attention getter wherever you place it. It\'s an amazing decorative piece. As I said, I picked this up at a local estate sale. I did have a chance to meet and talk to the original owner. She told me that her and her husband used this as a candy dish on their coffee table. So it was never used as an ashtray. (I thought that was important to mention). It has one tiny little dent on one of the prongs as shown. Extremely hard to see. The size of a pinhead. But, all flaws must be mentioned. However, it doesn\'t take away from this piece at all. This is a very cool heavy duty solid piece of pottery. On the bottom it reads California USA M73.
