Antique lace tablecloth & napkin set with roses in lace - the work is so fine and the set so beautiful, it must be French. The tablecloth is exquisite, the napkins unbelievably gorgeous. Perfect for the most special occasion.
A lavish lace border embellishes the plain linen center of the cloth - the lace is 26 inches deep at the corners and 11 inches along the edges. The lace on the napkins is 6 inches deep at the corners and 2 inches along the edges. Lacey and lovely!
The tablecloth measures approx 76 x 104 inches, the napkins about 21 inches square. Highest quality Irish linen, all handmade buratto lace, and beautifully finished with the tightest buttonhole stitching. Superb!
Condition is excellent - probably the tablecloth and half the napkins were never used, the other half were very gently used. Recently laundered - clean, crisp and bright. The faintest shadows on some of the napkins, two tiny areas at the edge of the cloth where the lace has unraveled a bit (last photo), and two very small and very faint water spots on the cloth that will launder out. This set looks fabulous.
