this is a very interesting piece, never seen anything like it before, i was told it is a middle Eastern piece, and possibly a very ancient antiquity, unfortunately it does need restoration, its legs have broken off and i think the base would have been bigger, for some strange reasion it has a thick silver paint over most of the body, or maybe this is part of the glass how it was made many years ago, but it looks to have been scraped off in places revealing a wonderful dark green colour. maybe hidden restoration under the silver colour. should really be in a museum, it measures about 22cm high, thick type of glass,could be an extremely rare piece as it came from a large private collection with some extremely rare one off items that ill be listing. due to rules on antiquities im having to sell as unknown age or origin as i have no paperwork to show where it was originally found.
