WONDERFUL VICTORIAN MOURNING LOCKET.
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL LOCKET SET WITH A GOLD FRONT AND BACK.THE LOCKET HAS A BEAUTIFUL SHAPE WITH A WONDERFUL ENGRAVED DESIGN.THERE IS A WONDERFUL FLORAL DESIGN WITH A SUNBURST PATTERN TO ONE SIDE WITH A SCROLL BORDER.THE OTHER SIDE HAS ABUCKLE PATTERN WITH \'ELIZABETH SAUNDERS DIED NOV 9 1852 AGED 42\' ENGRAVED ROUND IT.IN THE CENTRE ARE THE INITIALS \'EJS\' ENGRAVED.THERE IS NO HALLMARK HOWEVER WE HAVE ACID TESTED THE LOCKET AND IN OUR OPINION IT IS 9CT GOLD FRONT AND BACK.A LOVELY ITEM.e3558
