Exquisite,earlyTibetan bronze statue depicting a four armed Bodhisattvaseated upon a double lotus base.Magnificent, museum quality statue with sublime, finely detailed casting. Seated in dhyanasana, clad in a flowing dhoti, surmounted by an ornate crown and bedecked in jewels, thestatue displays a serene countenance.The figure delicately holdsa mala ofprayer beads, a sacred text, and a medicine bowl, with the right hand raised in blessing. The underside remains sealed withthe insetcopper baseplate bearing the double vajra seal, indicating consecration by a Tibetan lama after placing sacred items inside. This statue is one of the finest we have ever offered, hand crafted with great attention to detail. The earrings display inset turquoise stones, the dhotiis edged with ornate brocades, and the multi-layered lotus petals on the baseare exceptionallywell cast.Splendid form with a strong, yet graceful posture. Stunning from any angle, including the reverse. A true masterwork representingTibet\'s bygone era.
