Cyrtometopus are scarce, in very limited supply, not easy to prep freestanding and rarely perfectly preserved complete like this. Preped by a profesional. I could say that there are not many preparators who could prep a specimen like this and end the story, but here`s a full disclosure of the work, as good as I can tell after a close inspection of the work done. It is natural and guaranteed authentic trilobite specimen, with minimal esthetic work done. Tip of the right genal spine and tip of the right pygidial spine are restored, the rest is authentic. Small area along the break line, close to the pygidium could be masked. As usual, you never see the break lines on russian trilobites, but I guarantee this is a natural fossil. All in all, less work done as on some more expensive specimens. End of story! Listed at a very reasonable -50% price to sell quick, priced as some lesser quality specimens are selling for.
