These vintage \"TAVERN\" boxes are really getting hard to find. The three boxes have a picture of a PEGASUS and the two larger boxes read: TAVERN NOVELTY CANDLES - No. 793 --2 LARGE ANGELS - SOCONY -VACUUM OIL COMPANY,INC. The boxes are complete with the divider & cut out sections inside. There are two Angels in the one box, but only one is the Tavern candle with the Tavern Tab on the bottom.The other Angel box has Two Tavern Choir Boys, not Angels, and both boys have the Tavern tabs on the bottoms. The third smaller Tavern box reads: No.780 - 4 SMALL TOY SOLDIERS, but it has 4 GURLEY NOVELTY CO. Candles - DANCING SNOWMEN, and 3 of them have the bottom tabs. Then the other candles consist of an INDIAN BOY & GIRL and their wick\'s on top look like Feathers, and both have the GURLEY tabs. Their are two SNOWMEN, one has the Gurley tab - one BUNNY with a Gurley tab - one ELF with a Gurley tab - six TURKEYS with Gurleys tabs, including the large Turkey - a large PUMPKIN, no tab - a PILGRIM BOY & GIRL, no tabs -, and one SANTA with no tab, for a total of 24 candles, and 3 boxes w/covers. (27 items total).
