My parents purchased this wonderful piece from Mr. Fornasetti at his atelier, on a trip they took to Milan. I am looking for an appreciative new home where it will be admired as deserved, and treasured! Unfortunately, it doesn\'t work in my place and I can no longer store it here.
Unable to ask my parents anymore why the base/legs are not attached, the table top always sat on this base with four brass legs.
** July UPDATE: I recently contacted Fornasetti’s Milan office to inquire, and the mystery is solved. I was told Mr Fornasetti allowed people a choice of legs, or to purchase without them.
With the value of an original Fornasetti in the signed table top, and base included, I am asking significantly less than comparable tables are currently priced.
NOTE: I recently sold a piece of furniture I marked \"local pick up\", and the had buyer made arrangements with Plycon Transporting Group to ship it to her.
