This Mackenzie-Childs Ltd. bisque piece is from the Torquay line. We spoke to the wonderful people at Mackenzie-Childs and they have informed us that many years ago it was authorized by previous owners to create unique pieces using overstock bisque to sell at their annual barn sales. One of their production managers who is still with them today confirmed that he remembered a time around 2002(ish) that several Wallcourt patterns were painted for the barn sale. They do believe this piece to be an authentic Mackenize-Childs piece and it is not something that was sold as part of their normal production line. This rectangle dish measures 9 1/2 in L x 6 1/2 in W and has natural markings of pottery. It is yellow with a light rose color and blue trim, very spring colors. This would be great on the Easter table or for any occasion.
