- Marthinsen items are still being made today and candlesticks of this size sell for over $1000 and aren\'t nearly as ornate.
- Has the Marthinsen markings see close up picture taken from the bottom of the candlestick.
- This is made with 830 silver, not silverplated. 830 silver is used in many fine older pieces.
- Weight is588 grams or about 18 troy ounces, candlestick is weighted (inside bottom filled with cement).
- The candlestick has green felt on the bottom that shows signs of age.
- Measures7-1/4\" tall and base is 4-1/4\" X 4-1/4\".
- In wonderfulcondition with light wear consistent with age, has one small ding and needs a good polishing otherwise is gorgeous.
