Assayed in London and dated1832 (year letter R).Maker is IL,HL,CL - Lias Brothers - high quality makers whose mark is found in Jackson\'s pocket edition page 60/62.

This is a lovely and uncommon piece of Victorian period silver-it of highly flamboyant form and is a wonderful piece of grand silver.

There is no engraving however there is an extremely faint marks of some cursive writing so faint as not to be able to be photographed. I cannot make out what it says even with a loop!

This lovely pot is of exceptional quality and is a most delightful piece of table silver.

Its weight is a sublime 708 grams and the overall condition is sensational. 30cm long (spout to handle)x 18cm widex 16cm height to top of finial.

Handle and finial are both firm and secure.
