Magnificent very early 1900\'s - Germany SANTA CLAUS RIDING A DONKEY NODDER. 6 3/4\"T x 5 1/2\"L. donkey is cotton covered with paper leather trim and is a nodder, donkey is in excellent condition for age. the santa is cotton fabrics with composition boots, hands and face. rabbit fur beard, goose feather sprig, reed basket on back. no damage to beautiful face. boots good, the right hand holding tree at one time must have had something glued in and there is a chip around the hole for tree. this is a real beauty and sure to be a showpiece of any collection.
